ABOUT THE FSL CURSUS:
The acronym FSL stands for French as a Second Language. The cursus opens a new field of principles and techniques found within the referral text of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
This text also defines six levels of mastery of the French language: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.
It puts forward new teaching principles which are:
ABOUT THE DISCOVERY OF THE LANGUAGE AND UNDERLYING CULTURE:
Learning a language is not limited to the mastery of its code and rules. To establish satisfying interaction, the student must also learn and recognise the behaviors and linguistic nuances in order to be understood by his or her interlocutor.
Learning a language entails opening up to a different culture, identifying and taking into account the particularities of the culture such as history and social norms. This disposition will allow you to enrich your personal knowledge as well as the ins and outs of the French language.

- I'm a French native living in Provence.
- I hold a diploma from the Lyon 2 Lumière University from June of 2013 enabling me to teach French as a Second Language to adults.
- This activity is the result of my personal and professional experience, having taught for twenty years in France and abroad, as I was expatriated during ten years with my family.

- the selection of themes and activities targeted at the particular needs of the students,
- the acquisition of the language through communicative tasks (reenactments, use of authentic documents),
- the development of the student’s autonomous skills,
- the discovery of a culture other than one’s own.
